Typical engagements include designing pricing strategies for new products and services, refining discount structures, developing value-based monetisation models, and supporting clients through strategic pricing decisions in complex market environments. You will gain experience across industries, working directly with senior stakeholders to influence commercial outcomes.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will support senior analysts and consultants in leading analytical workstreams within cross-functional teams, delivering expert, data-driven pricing advice to Pearson Ham Group’s clients across diverse sectors.
With support from your project team, your role will involve in-depth exploration and analysis of client data, ranging from sales performance and customer behaviour to competitive dynamics, to develop robust pricing recommendations. Leveraging advanced statistical techniques and scenario modelling, you will forecast the commercial impact of price adjustments and monetisation strategies.
Typically working in teams of 3-4, you will support the team in shaping client engagements by synthesising complex data into clear insights. As you develop, you will start engaging directly with stakeholders through interviews and presentations, influencing strategic pricing decisions and driving commercial outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications
– An undergraduate or master’s degree from a leading university, ideally in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative or analytical discipline
– Genuine interest in pricing strategy, monetisation, and commercial problem-solving, with any relevant academic, project, or extracurricular experience viewed favourably
– Foundational understanding of pricing concepts such as value-based pricing, market and competitor benchmarking, and willingness-to-pay (through coursework, research, or internships)
– Experience using Excel; additional skills in SQL, Python, or R are highly desirable.
– Excellent communication skills—able to clearly explain insights to clients and stakeholders
– A curious and commercial mindset with strong attention to detail.
– Proven ability to work independently as well as in collaborative teams.
– Proven work experience preferred, whether that be an internship or previous role.
Essentials
– Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or Spanish is strongly preferred.
– Right to work in the UK is essential.
